THE PLAN
In August 2010, New Zealander Jeremy Burfoot and a support team will set out from
London to travel on a personal watercraft some 32,000 km. On a mission to break anUltimate Ride
incredible world record and attempt something no one has ever dared before.
The journey is THE ULTIMATE RIDE.
The Ultimate Ride is the iconic London to Sydney route – a journey made famous
by intrepid travelers using different types of craft – none have been quite so bold
as to use a personal watercraft in the quest.
Along the way, Jeremy will celebrate cancer survivers, and their stories – along
with his own. It’s all about harnessing media attention to raise awareness and
funds for cancer.
The eyes of the world will be on this attempt. And that’s why this incredible feat
represents a unique sponsorship opportunity for one company or brand to align
itself with the adventure of a lifetime.
